This policy explains what information Pofo ("we", "us") collects when you use pofo.me, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Pofo is a custom website design service operated from Lebanon.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit the contact form or the project request form, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, and any message or project details.
  • Files you upload. If you upload a file (for example a CV or samples of your work) through the request form, we collect and store that file.
  • Information you share to build your site. If you become a client, we collect the content and materials you share with us — on a discovery call, by email, or otherwise — so we can design and build your website.
  • Technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you.
  • To design, build, host, and support your website.
  • To send you service-related emails, such as confirming we received your request.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

3. Service providers

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate Pofo — for example, to host our website, store data and uploaded files, and send service-related emails. These providers process data only on our behalf and under our instructions, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not otherwise share your information except where required by law.

4. Files you upload

Files you upload are stored privately and accessed only by us, through secured, access-controlled means. We use them solely to build and deliver your website.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to you, deliver and support your website, and meet legal or business requirements. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see "Your rights").

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at info@pofo.me. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies

Our public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only the essential cookies needed for the site and our admin area to function.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls and private storage for uploaded files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. Children

Pofo is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always shows the current version.
